Yesterday evening at 20.21 (finally) the lorry with Leipheimer and Dirk Vermeiren finally departed from Chateau Versailles in Paris. This night they arrived in Minderhout and Leipheimer was doing well but it felt a little strange being home again. Karin still had obligations in Paris (Paris by Night and the Belgian House) and she slept in Paris....

Karl Vannieuwkerke fileert met zijn gasten de afgelopen dag op de Olympische Spelen. Ann Wauters is de geknipte persoon om de nederlaag van de Belgian Cats onder te loep te nemen, Karin Donckers viel met de Belgische ruiterploeg net naast het podium in de eventing. Karin was placed as 18th for the individual jumping final. Some riders who were place before Karin in the competition made mistakes, so Karin moved forward in the ranking tot the 16th place. Congratulations Karin and Leipheimer van 't Verahof.
